A Voluminous Vision of Venice

On a recent trip overseas I was able to stop over in Italy on my way home. I had the incredible blessing of returning to what is perhaps my favorite city on earth, Venice. The scenes of this enchanting city of water provide a limitless potential for photography, with an abundance of light, atmosphere, and water as the backdrop for waterborne vessels, classic architecture, weathered doors, and untold mysteries waiting to be discovered around every corner. These are a few of my favorite photos from the visit.

Buddy & Jennifer

July 8, 2016.

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting an impromptu wedding for Buddy and Jennifer in Austin, Texas at the Lenoir Winegarden. The occasion was an engagement party, but in the middle of the party, they announced to their guests that they were going to go ahead and just tie the knot right then and there! It was quite a scene. Here’s what I captured of the evening’s events.

Wedding at Cana: Rob & Tiffany – February 10, 2015

I had the honor of shooting my first wedding today. The bride & groom had been engaged for some time but spontaneously decided to get married just yesterday. They didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to make their wedding vows at such a meaningful spot as Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle: turning water to wine at a marriage celebration. It was a beautiful day and our group was happy to be the unexpected witnesses of their new union.
